Undefined Teddy Bear - using Stampin' Up! ® products

Hello everyone, how are we doing? I'm very chuffed (pleased) with the subject of today's post. I have had the Stampin' UP! Undefined Kit since it was first launched around the beginning of December last year, but hadn't decided what I wanted to use it for.

Before I discovered rubber stamps, I used to hand draw all my cards using photos or pictures on the internet as a guide, but would tailor them to my own needs. It would take me a fair few evenings just to make one card! Quite out of the blue the other night, I stumbled across a little bear that I had copied onto tracing paper, from a sketch I had done. He was all ready and waiting and the perfect size for the largest wooden block in the set.

I transferred the image onto the rubber and set about carving my stamp. It may be a little rough and ready but I think that only adds to it's charm.

I have made a couple of cards with the stamp. The first is sort of a case from a card in an issue of Papercraft Essentials. Essentially I used their card as a sketch for the layout of mine.

I then decided to make another one using up some of the gorgeous Sweet Sorbet Sale-a-bration DSP. Sale-a-bration ends on the 31st March, so this DSP will only be available as a free gift until then. 

I would love these papers in the Stampin' Up! Brights Collection too.

Stamps: my own carved stamp using the Undefined Stamp Carving Kit

Inks: Smoky slate marker, Basic Grey ink pad, Crisp Cantaloupe ink pad
