Skools out for Summer.....Stampin' Up! Punch Art

We kicked the school holiday off in style on Wednesday with a BBQ for my son and some of his friends and their Mum's and siblings. There were 10 kids in total and they were crazily excited - jumping on the trampoline, having water fights. They barely ate anything though! We had a quiet day at home yesterday to make up for it.

Even though we had contributed to the class collection, I still wanted to make my son's teacher and teaching assistant a personal gift. He was in Shark class, so I cased this Stampin' Up!® Punch Art Shark. It's one I've used before on Shark cards for my son's class mates.

I decorated the front of the Karft notebook with the Marina Mist spotty DSP from the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack, then cut out an oval of Whisper White to mount the shark on. The letters are all using the new Little Letters thinlits TIP: use wax paper on top of your card stock, then put the letters on top of the wax paper, as this makes it easier to remove the letters once they are cut out.

My son was pleased with the gift and I hope his teachers were too.

Have a great weekend, wherever you are. We are catching up with old friends this weekend. I can't wait - its been too long since we last saw them.

Thanks for stopping by x
