Underwater effect for Stampin' Up! Sea Street Card

I've got a really cute little card for you today (even if I do say it myself lol!). When I first started making cards a couple of years ago, I stumbled across a tutorial for a fun technique called the bouncing brayer technique. Basically you ink up a brayer and bounce it onto your paper, moving the card round, till you've covered it.

I used that technique for the background on today's card, using Stampin' Up!'® rubber stamp set Sea Street (wood or clear).

 Instead of using a multi-coloured ink pad like in the tutorial, I simply used Coastal Cabana first, then did another round with Bermuda Bay. Finally I sponged some Daffodil Delight in the gaps. I love the look - it does look like sun shining through the sea.

I stamped the fish over the background and then the Octopus in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I cut out the octopus using the 2 1/2" circle punch and the black card using the Starburst framelits
