Pinkies Stampin' Up! Autumn-Winter Catalogue 2014 Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us on another Pinkies Blog Hop! We're showcasing lots of gorgeous projects using products from the new Stampin' Up!® Autumn/Winter Seasonal Catalogue. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep hopping!

I'm usually a very last minute person. For everything, not just crafting, but this year the Autumn-Winter Catalogue has soooooo much in it that I have been inspired to dive right into Christmas preparations. I wanted to use Lost Lagoon for today's project but when I went to the cupboard, the cupboard was bare!! Of dear! Never mind I think the pool party version looks lovely too.

I used the Snowflake Card Thinlits Dies for this card and gift bag, although I didn't make the card using the template die. I have a little trick for cutting out the largest snow flake. I was quite pleased with myself for spotting this one, when I was trying to work out how to completely cut it out.

It's very simple really. Just rotate your die and line it up over the snowflake as shown in the collage below:

I used the little words from the die to wrap around the bottom of the gift bag and finished it off with some Snowflake Frosted Sequins.

So next stop is Lucy's blog, why don't you go and take a peek at what she has been up to? Thanks for stopping by.......
