Simply Stars and Gorgeous Grunge - using Stampin' Up! ® products

Two of my favourite stamp sets are combined in the picture I made below. I had an Ikea frame on my fireplace, with a picture in it that I have never really liked. So when I saw this card, that a German demonstrator posted on her blog, Anja-Basteleien, replacing that picture sprang to mind.

Initially I was going to just completely case it as is, but I was also working on a butterfly picture as a birthday present for one of my son's school friends, so I decided to do something a little different instead. I hope you like it.

I used mostly grey shades (Smoky Slate, Basic Grey with a little silver thrown in too), but injected a little colour with Bermuda Bay.

And here is where it lives - on top of a redundant fireplace in my dining room.

For this project you will need:

Card Stock: Smonky Slate 12x12" - cut to 9x9" for the background, Whisper White cut to 8x8". Whisper white for the stars, Silver Glimmer Paper.
Ink: Smoky Slate, Basic Grey, Bermuda Bay
Stamps: Gorgeous Grunge, Simply Stars
Embellishments: Linen Twine, Rhinstones
