Owl Builder Punch Meets A Work of Art Stampin' Up! Stamp set

I have always been useless at remembering birthdays. In fact I think I may have told you that already. I have recently missed two birthdays. Both lovely little girls, but I am hoping that they forgive me once they see these extremely cute (even if I do say so myself) cards I made them using the Owl Builder Punch and the Work of Art rubber stamp set from Stampin' Up!®

The first card was inspired by a card by fellow Pinkie Caroline van den Straaten , whose card I originally saw on our team Facebook page, which she'd based on a card by my upline Michelle Last. Now I have used it for inspiration too,  but completely changed it other than colour scheme and layout. I love how sharing and caring Stampin' Up! demonstrators are, it certainly helped me overcome a creative hump the other night after a tough day dealing with the Bedlam Brothers!

As I liked the blue version so much I decided to recreate the card with a different stamp for the background and a different colour scheme. Both the heart and polka dot background are single stamps from the Work of Art rubber stamp set and are stamped in VersaMark ink then heat embossed using White Embossing powder.

I'm really pleased with how they turned out and I'm pretty sure the little girls they are intended for will love them as much as I do - well at least I hope so!!

To recreate these projects you will need the following Stampin' Up! supplies:

Rubber stamps: Work of Art wood or clear, Itty Bitty Banners wood or clear
DSP: Colour Collection Designer Series Paper Stacks - Subtles and Brights (for the owls' waistcoats/vests)

Thanks for stopping by - have a great weekend
