....... is the name of one of the gorgeous Stampin' Up! Designer Series Papers (DSP) 130129 13,25 € | £9.95 for 12 sheets. My husband couldn't understand why I was so pleased with myself last night whilst I was wrapping birthday gifts for his Mum, but there are 3 particular designs that are just perfect for her, as she used to be a seamstress and taught at a college part-time when my husband was a little boy.
I'm sure you can all understand why I was so happy can't you? I used the Extra-Gift box 132147 4,95 € | £3.75 (for 3 Kraft boxes), which is from the new Autumn/Winter Catalogue, and covered it with one of the sheets of DSP which has a dress-makers mannequin as the main focus of the design.
There are 4 boxes of chocolates in this one large box from my sons.
I then used the sheet which is is a replica of a "pattern" to wrap the present from David and myself. It looked quite masculine, as its in Night of Navy, so I prettied it up with a belly band made from the tape measure patterned paper and added a few paper flowers and a Very Vintage Designer Button 129327 6,95 € | £5.50.
We're going to visit and hand over the gifts this afternoon. The surprise won't be spoilt by posting the pictures on my blog as my in-laws are not silver surfers. They are quite techno-phobic to be honest. My son made me laugh a few weeks ago, when my father-in-law commented that Tom and Jerry was around when he was a little boy but that he didn't have a television at home. My 4 year old son was surprised and asked him if he only had an iPad then? (The boys watch Cbeebies programmes in the iPlayer app on my iPad). He couldn't understand that things like the iPad have not always been around!!
Well I hope you like my project for today. I will be sharing more projects with you in a couple of weeks using products from the new Autmn/Winter Catalogue, which is out now. Click on the picture below to go to the online version. There are soooooooooo many lovely goodies you will want them all!!
I'll be back tomorrow with a great offer and the new Best of 25 year stamp set!
thanks for popping by

It's hard to believe how technology has changed so much over the time of only one generation. My kids can't get over that there were only 3 television channels when I was young. No C4 or 5 when I was little and today with satellite there are endless things to watch.
ReplyDeleteha ha - have you told them about vinyl records?? :-)
