One of the things I love about Stampin' Up!, which I have probably already mentioned, is CASE! Simply put, it means - Copy and Share Everything! Stampin' Up! actively encourage it and I find it really helps when my creative mojo has gone AWOL, which it does from time to time!
Today's project started off as a two-card CASE of a card by Kimberley Van Diepen, who is one of the top demos in the US. I loved her card the instant I saw it (click here) - it combines Butterflies (Elegant Butterfly punch) and Happy Watercolor (available in clear or wood) - two of my absolute favourites!
I started with more or less a direct case of the neutrals card, trying it out on Whisper White and Very Vanilla. I got a bit carried away with the gold ink splats from Gorgeous Grunge (available in clear or wood).
I then thought I would create a blue version similar to the cards I created a few weeks back with a watercolour background (click here to see)
I then got even more carried away and decided to try it out in red, pink, orange, yellow, green and purple too! Its a great way to use those colours, that you tend to neglect in favour of others.
I find it difficult to part with cards I love, but I will be using these as thank you cards for my customers (they deserve them, as they (my customers) are so lovely). I will be cheeky and say if you are in the UK, Netherlands, France, Germany or Austria and would like one too, all you need do is place an order with me (simply click on the product links or the shop link below to get started) and I will send you one too!
