A Magic Slider Card using Stampin' Up! Hostess Set Life's Adventure

As soon as I saw this Magic Slider card from my fellow Pinkie Caroline Hallet I knew I wanted to do one for my class but I also knew I wanted to give them all a sneak peek of the new products they can buy from next Tuesday woohoo!  I thought the new Stampin' Up! hostess stamp Life's Adventure would be perfect for requirements and I wasn't wrong - my class loved the card and the stamp set.

I took a quick look at the tutorial Caroline had found by Julie Davidson (http://juliedavison.blogspot.co.uk/2009/10/magic-card-tutorial.html), but changed the measurements to suit A4 card stock. This is why I love Stampin' Up! so much - everyone shares and everyone is free to CASE (copy and share everything) - so a big thank you to Caroline and Julie!

This set is so versatile and can be ordered with your hostess points on orders over £150. Perfect for both adult and children's cards.

I masked the sentiment with a sticky note when inking up the stamp so I could just stamp the image.

I then used the markers to apply ink just to the sentiment and stamped it onto a separate piece of card to make a banner.

I hope you like today's project. Don't forget there are only a few more days to get any retiring items you would like. A lot has sold out already so be quick!

Have a great weekend!
