Back to Black Feathers with Stampin' Up! DSP

I just love the new Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!®. It's hard to pick a favourite, but certainly Back to Black is amongst them. Today's card making inspiration is a simple card, using the feathers print. I got the idea of making my own feathers from this card my upline Michelle made.

I snipped the sides of the feather to match the style of the DSP, rather than the more realistic looking feathers Michelle had made.

This was a really quick and easy card to make. I used the following Stampin' Up! products:

Card Stock: Basic Black, Real Red, Whisper White

DSP: Back to Black

Rubber Stamp: sentiment from Hip Hip Hooray Kit

Embellishments: White Baker's Twine, Black 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Neutrals Designer Button

I hope you've enjoyed today's project. We're surviving the summer holidays so far. We took a bus tour of the sights of London on Monday. I highly recommend it, there were so many interesting little facts to learn about my home city!
