Kinda Eclectic from Stampin' Up!

As soon as I saw the Kinda Eclectic rubber stamp set in the new Stampin' Up!® catalogue I knew I wanted it - not only because it has two butterflies in it, but also because of the large sunburst stamp. When my order arrived on Monday, it was the first (and only one so far) I reached for. I will get to the others though, never fear.  I have some lovely ideas for the new Garden Party stamp set, so that one will be next on my list to try!

I did two versions of this card. The first is heat embossed so I could sponge ink around the sun burst. I first inked up my stamp with VersaMark and then Daffodil Delight on top of the VersaMark before stamping down on the card stock. The Daffodil Delight goes down first with the VersaMark on top. I then covered the image with clear embossing powder and heated with my heat tool. Once it had cooled I sponged Soft Sky gently in circular motions give a hint of blue sky.

I simply stamped the sun burst in Daffodil Delight for this one. I think I prefer the first - its kinda hazy round the sun. Which one do you prefer?

I coloured some rhinestones with the darkest Daffodil Delight Blendabilities just to add a little bling.

Well the boys are all back to school and playgroup today. I might try to sneak in some crafting rather than doing the house work!

For the projects above you will need the following Stampin' Up! supplies:
