Top Note Gift Card Holder & Clearance Rack Blitz - using Stampin' Up! ® products

It was my sister's birthday recently and I wanted to get her a gift card so she could choose something she really liked. Originally I was just going to make one using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool but then I stumbled across this Gift Card holder using the top note die on Pinterest.

I love Pinterest and could spend hours getting lost browsing all the fantastically creative things that get pinned….errrr hang on a minute, I usually do! Usually late at night when I should be sleeping!

Anyway back to my gift card holder. My sister is a photographer, so I used the camera patterned paper from the I Am Me DSP pack and the camera image from Around the World stamp set.

I made her a matching card using the Circles Thinlits.

My last card class of the year was the same day as my sister's birthday and I couldn't help "killing two birds with one stone" as is my usual way with crafting. We made a Christmas version of the gift card holder using the Island Indigo textured card stock (shown below) with Winter Frost DSP inside (not shown). I must say I do love the Island Indigo and Smoky Slate textured card stock a lot. I don't think they'll be available beyond the end of January though unfortunately.
