On Wednesday evening last week, I was prepping for my monthly class and suddenly decided my 3d project just didn't cut the mustard. I had a fleeting moment of panic and then remembered the GBPB. Within minutes I had created this gorgeous gift box. It's so easy! No juggling working out dimensions and measurements and trying out prototypes just to be sure the measurements work. I simply chose the size of box I wanted, cut my card stock to size bush, bash bosh my box was done!
I used the Under the Tree Speciality Designer Series Paper, which is in fact cardstock-weight double-sided Kraft sheets. I love this stuff. It's coloured on one side and Kraft on the other, so when the box above is opened it has that lovely Garden Green pattern of the trees on the inside. I used the new Tree Punch (I love, love, love this punch) to decorate the outside of the box and create a tag for the top. The box and 9 trees were created out of just one sheet of 12x12"/30.5x30.5cm.
You can stick the sides of the box together, or simply leave them free like I have done.
The ladies who came to the class also loved the GBPB, for it's speed and ease of use. It was a clear winner and is on most of the class attendees orders too.
I hope you've enjoyed today's project. If you are following my blog I will be moving to a different platform shortly and may need you to sign up again on that platform. I will let you know more information shortly. And a big thank you for signing up to follow my posts. Your support is much appreciated xx
