Cards for Keeps with Stampin' Up! UK

Good morning everyone, I hope you had a great weekend. We did, but it went so fast!

Today's card is one I made for the Card for Keeps campaign that Stampin' Up!® is involved with in the UK to raise money for the children's charity Corum.  Stampin' Up! have asked a number of well known celebrities to create cards using SU products, which are now being auctioned off on eBay. The Tom Hiddleston card is already up to £2,650, which is absolutely awesome. The bidding doesn't close until Friday and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all the cards to raise as much money as possible for this charity.

In addition, SU ran a competition for demonstrators to submit cards, one of which would be selection by Shelly Gardner (CEO of Stampin' Up!) and her daughter Sarah Douglas to be entered into the auction, along side the celebrities' cards. I didn't win (you can see the winning entry here), but as they say it's the taking part that counts! Lol. It's a little different from my usual style.

For the background, to the front panel I used the same method I did for this card (I made them at the same time).

I stitched the DSP pocket on 3 sides to the front layer and made a label to pop inside.

For this card I used:

Stamps: Dictionary Background wood or clear, Fabulous Phrases wood or clear
Tools: Beautiful Butterflies Bigz, Full Heart Punch, Undefined Stamp Carving Kit (for butterfly image stamped onto the dictionary print background)

I hope you liked today's project. Be sure to check out the charity auction on ebay!
