Stampin' Up!® have brought out two sets of Decorative masks in the new annual catalogue. I used the Dots & Stripes set for this challenge.
I inked up a sponge dauber with Blackberry Bliss from the new in-colours and sponged through the mask without reinking the dauber to get the ombre effect. I ran a circle of blackberry bliss card stock through my Big Shot with the Stylish Stripes embossing folder.
I couldn't just do one though ....
I used Lost Lagoon ink for this one and the Decorative Dots embossing folder on the circle of Lost Lagoon card stock. The butterflies on both cards are from Kinda Eclectic (wood or clear), they match with the Elegant Butterfly punch and the sentiment is from Itty Bitty Banners (wood or clear) cut out using the Bitty Banners framelits.
I hope you like them.
It's the last few days of school... I had an insight into the summer holidays at the weekend. My husband bought the boys pump action water guns!! Oh dear! Lol
Two gorgeous cards here. I'm a pink colour person so was drawn straight away to the first card. Then I (spotted) the second card and was totally blown away by it. So glad you stumbled on my challenge.
ReplyDeleteHugs Mrs A. (Butterfly challenge).
Ah thanks Mrs A - I will certainly be playing along again. I love butterflies :-)
DeleteSo clever! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you and you're welcome :-)
DeleteHi Tracy, you've really met the spots & stripes butterfly challenge with 2 super cards. Love the way changing the colors from a bold bright tone to the subtle look of the soft blue made each card so very different, yet with the same elements. Wonderful cards in both color combos. TFS & nice to meet you.
ReplyDeleteHi MaryH - thank you for your lovely comment :-)
