Thank you note cards using Stampin' Up! Garden party stamps

As I mentioned last week, this week's posts will all be showcasing new products from the Annual Stampin' Up!® 2014-2015 catalogue. Today's creative inspiration is in the form of a set of Thank you note cards using the Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes.

I chose Blushing Bride, Pear Pizazz, Early Espresso with a touch of Crumb Cake as the colour scheme.

I'm show casing the Garden Party rubber stamp set, available in wood or clear. This is such a versatile little set, as well as Thank you cards it could be used for invites (to a garden party maybe lol!), birthday cards, to decorate gift wrap. I think it would also make sweet cards for little girls, teenage girls, grown up girls......  I have loads of ideas I will be trying out with this set.

I made the note card holder using the Envelope Punch Board. Essentially it is just a box envelope. I used Pear Pizazz cut to 19.3cm x 19.3cm. I then punched and scored at 7.7cm and then 9.1cm before using the score guide to line up and score all the other folds. I cut one of the ends off and then adhered the bottom and the side flaps together. I decorated with a panel of Early Espresso and stamped a background on the Blushing Bride panel using Blushing Bride ink (You could also stamp this in white craft ink for more of a contrast). I then stamped and cut out a few flowers to embellish it.

I also stamped inside each card with the main stamp featured on the outside.

This set was so quick and easy to put together. I hope you like it.

Wow - I don't know where this morning has gone! I've got to pick up my youngest son from playgroup soon. It's his last week there, which is actually quite sad, as the ladies who run the group are lovely! They break up for the summer holidays the week before the school does. Lewis is off to nursery in the new term. I can't quite believe that's come around so quickly. We'll soon be buying school shoes and trying on uniforms to make sure they fit! I've challenged myself with not leaving this til the end of summer like I did last year! Everything had run out so I ended up making 4 or 5 different trips to various shopping centres to get everything we needed - I think an online shop at the start of the summer is the key!

Talking of online shopping - don't forget you can click through the links of the products above to go directly to my online shop!

Thanks for stopping by, see you Wednesday xx
