Little Buddy Birthday from Stampin' Up! and new Weekly Deals

I seem to have a run of birthdays in quick succession this month. From a 40th at the weekend to a 4 year old. Luckily Stampin' Up!® has the goods for all ages!

I used the clear Little Buddy Birthday rubber stamp set (also available in wood) and coloured it using the Melon Mambo Blendabilities. The hearts across the top and bottom of the card are stamped in Melon Mambo using the Borderettes photopolymer stamp set.

The pink splats are a happy accident. I hadn't realised that I'd gotten an ink splat from the Blendabilities on my card. This happens when you take the lids off the pens too quickly sometimes. I simply deliberately did it after that, with all 3 pens in the set, to get a good covering over the card base.

I'm finding that most little girls I know love pink, so I'm sure this colour scheme will go down well with the recipient. My 5 year old son used to love pink too. He would always insist on having the pink plate, bowl, cup, cutlery from the set. All of a sudden though, he's decided pink is definitely a "girl" colour and refuses to eat or drink from them now! It's rubbing off on his little brother, who is now also starting to refuse pink! Grrrr lol!!

I hope you've liked today's project. Simple but very cute I think.

Thanks for stopping by!

Don't forget to ask me about the fantastic joining offer.
